Community Stewardship.

Key's management team believes that real estate developments can be designed and operated sustainably, while reducing overall cost to the owners. Through the implementation of environmental policies, energy efficient practices, and sensible long-term planning, these guidelines and behaviors minimize community and environmental impact while ensuring the longterm viability of industry.

Key embraces the principals of LEED and implements them, wherever possible, into our projects. Both principals have been LEED certified since 2009, and more than 2 million square feet of facilities have received LEED certification on sites developed by Key or projects managed by Key.

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)

Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) in 2000, LEED provides real estate developers, owners and operators with a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.
